Public input will be gathered at Oaklyn Library Thursday evening

State officials will visit Evansville this week to gather public input on how to best use federal pollution reduction money. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management was awarded $3 million in initial planning funds to conduct a greenhouse gas emissions inventory and to develop a Priority Climate Action Plan.

The plan is due to the federal EPA next month.

A Comprehensive Climate Action Plan is due in July 2025.

IDEM staff and representatives will hear from residents Thursday evening, from 6-7:30 at Oaklyn Library, off Oak Hill Road.
