A head-on crash seriously injured two people in Gibson County. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Sheriff Bruce Vanoven says it happened late Wednesday afternoon on State Road 57, south of State Road 64.
An investigation determined that a pickup truck traveling southbound on 57 crossed the center line and crashed into a northbound SUV.
The sheriff says one person was transported to an area hospital by ambulance and one patient was airlifted by a medical helicopter.
He says the injuries were serious but not believed to be life-threatening.
There was no word on the names of the injured.
Vanoven says alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
