A southern Indiana doctor is hoping the third time is the charm as he announces a run for Congress. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Dr. Richard Moss of Jasper has launched his third attempt for the 8th District seat being vacated by Congressman Larry Bucshon.
Bucshon defeated Moss in the 2016 and 2018 Republican primaries.
Now with Bucshon planning to retire at the end of this year, Moss says he would bring his “wealth of experience” to Washington D.C. as an entrepreneur, medical doctor, author and “conservative fighter.”
Moss says in a news release that his campaign will focus on combating immigration, improving the economy, and “getting big government off the backs of hardworking Americans.”
In a video announcing his run, Moss praised former President Donald Trump and criticized the Biden Administration, progressives, and what he called “establishment Republicans.”
