A son hopes to replace his father on the Vanderburgh County Council. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
Joe Kiefer II says he will file this Friday for the office of Vanderburgh County Council at Large.
His father, Joe Kiefer Sr., is a long-time council member.
Joe II has served on the Board of Commissioners for the Convention and Visitors Bureau since 2014, and is currently board president.
He’s also a Program Manager and Financial Professional at a credit union in Evansville.
The younger Kiefer has also volunteered in the athletics program at Memorial High School.
