USI Offering Health Professions Day for Teens

File

The event on Feb. 23 is open to high school juniors and seniors

High school students interested in health care may want to save the date of February 23rd. WNIN’s John Gibson tells us why:

USI’s College of Nursing and Health Professions will host a Health Professions Day for high school juniors and seniors on that Friday.

The university says the event will incorporate hands-on experience within various health professions programs, as well as interaction with USI faculty and current students.

The event, from 8 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. will be held in the USI Health Professions Center and will include lunch and an optional campus tour.

The Health Professions Day is free, but capacity is limited and registration is required.

More information is available at USI.edu/hp-day.
