David Bower has announced plans to step down at the end of June

A longtime official at USI has announced his impending retirement. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

David Bower has announced plans to retire effective June 30th.

The university says Bower will still receive pay through the end of the year.

Bower has served at USI for 30 years -- 18 years as President of the USI Foundation and seven years as Vice President for Development.

University President Ron Rochon says he’s “both honored and humbled” to thank Brown for his service.

The University plans to launch a national search to fill the Vice President position this spring.
