Authorities have released the names of two Owensboro residents killed in a head-on crash. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Daviess County Coroner’s Office says 43-year-old Nicholle Haynes and 46-year-old Robert Brown, both of Owensboro, died in Wednesday’s crash.
Haynes was driving a car on the Wendell Ford Expressway near Reid Road, when her vehicle crossed the median and crashed head-on into Brown’s pickup truck.
Both drivers died at the scene.
The sheriff’s office says there were no other passengers in either vehicle.
Investigators say it’s not clear why Haynes crossed the median.
