A bridge in northern Vanderburgh County will be shut down for reconstruction. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Indiana Department of Transportation says beginning on or around Monday, January 8th, crews will close the State Road 65 Bridge over I-64.
INDOT says the project will replace the current bridge.
Work is expected to last through early July 2024, depending on weather.
The ramps at the I-64-State Road 65 interchange will remain open while the bridge is closed.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
Signs will be erected to re-route drivers.
