Authorities have released the victim’s name following a fatal crash on Highway 41. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office says 27-year-old Brett Lee Young died in Tuesday’s crash near Waterworks Road.
First responders found the vehicle on its top in the median.
Evansville firefighters helped extricate Young from the wreckage but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office says Young was the only person in the vehicle.
The Coroner’s Office says an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
The cause and manner of death are expected to be released after the autopsy and toxicology tests.
An investigation continues.
