A person is injured after a fire in Haubstadt. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The blaze was reported at about 4:20 Tuesday morning in the 100 block of East Elm Street in Haubstadt.
Upon arriving, first responders requested an Air Evac helicopter to fly an injured person to the hospital, but the chopper was unable to fly due to weather conditions.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says ultimately, a ground ambulance took the injured individual to an area hospital for treatment.
There was no word on the person’s name.
The fire was confined to a shed.
It’s not clear what caused the fire.
