Gibson, Daviess Boast Lowest Jobless Rates

The two counties lead the state of Indiana with rates of 2.4%

Gibson and Daviess counties have the lowest unemployment rates in the state of Indiana. WNIN’s John Gibson has more on the state’s jobs report:

Preliminary data for October shows the two southwest Indiana counties had jobless rates of 2.4%

Vanderburgh County saw a rate of 3.2%, Warrick was at 3.0, Posey 2.8, Spencer 3.1, and Dubois had a jobless rate of 2.8%.

The statewide average for October was 3.3%

Lake County had the highest unemployment rate at 4.7%, while Fayette, Howard and Blackford counties were also above 4%.
