A new sculpture has been dedicated on the campus of Deaconess Midtown Hospital. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Deaconess Hospice Reflections Memorial has been erected in the courtyard outside the Linda E. White Hospice House.

The sculpture was built as a memorial to honor loved ones and provide artwork for families spending time at the Hospice House to have a place to reflect.

The piece called “Hospice Reflections” was designed and created by artist Dale Enochs, who created arcs reminiscent of those within the walls of the Hospice House chapel.

It includes perforated compositions illustrating water, sky and a celestial background.

The overall images are interspersed with birds in flight, a person in a boat, and other symbolic images.

The sculpture is surrounded by benches for people to sit, reflect and discover the images in the artwork.
