Firefighters had to extricate two people from a crash near Downtown Evansville Monday. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
An SUV ended-up on top of a car, trapping two motorists on the parking lot of the Dollar General Store at Lincoln and Morton avenues.
The Evansville Fire Department said Tri-State Towing had to help stabilize one of the vehicles so crews could extricate the victims.

AMR took the injured to the hospital with serious injuries.
Their names were not available.
It’s not clear how one vehicle landed on top of the other.
