The area returns to Standard Time early Sunday

It’s almost time to “fall back.” WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Church, brunch, and football games might be a little easier to get to this Sunday, when phones grace early-risers with an extra hour of rest before alarms go off.

Standard Time returns early Sunday and will last until March 10th.

You’re advised to set clocks back one hour Saturday night unless the devices make the change automatically.

The sun will be setting next week well before many folks head home from the office.

Experts say the twice-yearly ritual can have effects on human health.

Northwestern Medicine sleep researcher Dr. Phyllis Zee says that one hour can change the quality and quantity of sleep.
