The winning number has been drawn in the record-setting Fall Festival Half Pot. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The West Side Nut Club announced the winning ticket Sunday evening.
It’s D-2627466.
Robust ticket sales Friday and Saturday sent the Half Pot to a record $1.8 million.
The winner will receive half the money, just over $900,000.
After taxes, the winner is expected receive about $574,000.
The other half of the jackpot will go to community organizations.
Before announcing the winning ticket on Sunday, the Nut Clubbers performed a massive post-festival cleanup along W. Franklin St.
The club says the goal is get the street in better shape than they found it a week earlier.
