The Vanderburgh County Clerk says early voting for the Nov. 7 Election starts this week, after a successful test of voting equipment. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Clerk Carla Hayden says the public test of the voting machines for the 2023 Municipal Election was a success.
State law requires the test.
In-person absentee voting, commonly referred to as “early voting”, will begin Wednesday at Central Library.
Hayden says the library replaces the Vanderburgh County Election Office as an early voting location.
Only voters registered within the city limits of Evansville will be eligible to vote in this election.
Note: The registration deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 10.
