An inspection of the Twin Bridges has forced a lane change. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
Crews have changed the lane that’s open on the southbound bridge.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the open lane has moved to the right as the bridge inspection continues.
The northbound bridge still has three lanes of traffic open, two headed north, and one headed south.
The additional southbound lane was added after the closure caused big backups.
The new alignment provides two lanes of traffic each way, with reduced speed limits.
The inspection is expected to last until November 18th.
