Mayoral Debate set for October 18th

Evansville's candidates for mayor will field questions during the event on WNIN

USI and WNIN are gearing up for an Evansville mayoral debate. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The debate is planned for Wednesday, October 18th, at the university’s Performance Center.

The debate will feature the three Evansville mayoral candidates: Republican Natalie Rascher, Democrat Stephanie Terry, and Libertarian Michael Daugherty.

The debate will be moderated by WNIN News Manager and local Morning Edition host John Gibson and will be broadcast on WNIN FM, WNIN TV, and live streamed at wnin.org in front of a live audience.

The debate is set for 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:15, and guests are asked to be seated by 6:45 p.m.

The event is open to students, faculty, staff and the public.

Evansville residents will cast their votes for Mayor and other city offices during the November 7th election.
