Access to I-69 from the Newburgh area will be tricky for the next month. WNIN’s John Gibson explains:
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the northbound ramp from westbound Highway 66 to I-69 will be closed until October 11th.
INDOT says the closure is part of the intersection improvement project at 66 and Epworth Road.
The work has already caused lane restrictions in that area.
Crews will reconstruct the ramp and install a drainage structure.
The suggested detour for the project: Take the I-69 southbound ramp from 66, and then exit on 66 eastbound, and take the eastbound ramp from 66 to northbound I-69.
The timetable for the work could change depending on the weather.
