U.S. News and World Report says Evansville is home to the second best high school in the nation. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Signature School earned the top spot among the country’s charter schools and a No. 2 ranking among all public high schools.
That’s up from No. 3 in last year’s rankings.
The publication also ranked Sig School as the top high school in Indiana.
The nation’s top high school, according to U.S. News, is the Early College at Guilford in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The publication says schools are ranked on state-required tests, graduation rates, and how well they prepare students for college.
Signature hosts about 380 students and employs about 30 faculty members.
