Fire destroyed a large house in Gibson County Wednesday afternoon. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Firefighters were called to the two-story home in the 800 block of North County Road 350-East, just east of Princeton at about 1:20 p.m.
On its Facebook page, the Princeton Area Firefighters Union Local 1634 says crews arrived and found a fully involved garage fire with roof collapse, extending to the house.
The union says the shift captain announced an “all call” for off-duty personnel to respond. The captain also called for help from the East Gibson Fire Department.
On-duty and off-duty crews were on the scene for nearly four hours.
There was no word of injuries.
The Red Cross was requested at the scene.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
