Debris Drop-Off Extended in Dubois County

Two sites are extended, one has closed following Aug. 7 Haysville tornado

Officials have extended the dates for tornado debris drop-off in Dubois County. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The county’s Emergency Management Agency says it’s extending the dates at two debris sites: Haysville Park South Field and the corner of County Road 960-East and State Highway 56.

Debris will be accepted through August 23rd.

Officials say the Dubois site is now closed.

The site at Haysville Park accepts natural wood debris like tree limbs and branches. It also has a dumpster for construction debris and for metal debris.

The drop-off site at 960-East and State Road 56 is accepting construction debris.

The sites are available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The tornado hit the Haysville area, north of Jasper, August 7th.
