The new Victory Theatre sign and marquee will be illuminated Friday evening. WNIN’s John Gibson has a preview:
Indiana Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch is among dignitaries planning to attend the lighting ceremony at 7:30 PM.
The Victory Theatre is also hosting a concert by Rumours: A Fleetwood Mac tribute band at 8:00 PM.
All concert attendees will have access to a viewing area outside the theatre.
Tickets for the concert are available at the nearby Ford Center Ticket Office and at Ticketmaster starting at $20 each.
Downtown Evansville’s Night Market on Main will also be taking place starting at 5:00 PM.
The Friends of Victory spearheaded the project to replicate the original Victory sign.
It’s been in the works for decades.
