The Germania Maennerchor Volksfest is underway in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

That’s the Rhine Valley Brass Band tuning up for the club’s 61st festival.
The three-day event at the club on Fulton Avenue began at lunch time Thursday. The traditional tapping of the first keg is set for Thursday evening.
Aside from the German music and the beer, the food offerings include bratwurst, pig knuckles, and kraut balls.
The Germania Volksfest also includes a Brat Trot 5K Saturday morning and a Kids Corner from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
The Kids Corner offers free food, back packs, a bouncy house, and more for kids ages 12 and under.
