Mesker Park Zoo and Botanic Garden says it’s a boy. WNIN’s John Gibson explains:
Officials say the penguin chick that was hatched in April is male, on exhibit, and in need of a name.
You can vote on a name by going to meskerparkzoo.com, click the "Donate Now” tab at the top of the page, and select the name you like in the drop down menu.
Mesker is offering five names to choose from: Louie, Maverick, Jester, Rocky, and Pickle.
Each vote costs $2.00.
The penguin naming fundraiser runs through July 31st and the name will be announced August 1st.
