Downtown Evansville July 4 Fireworks Returning

While storms are possible Thursday night, hosting organization Downtown Evansville is expecting it to miss the area during the show timeframe.

The Fireworks on the Ohio are returning for the Tuesday Independence Day celebration, presented by Bally’s Evansville.

The fireworks display will be at about 9:15 PM on Riverside Drive from Court Street to Cherry Street , shot from a barge on the river.

It’s free to attend and parking is also free, at the City of Evansville Parking garages at 3rd and Locust, the garage at 500 Sycamore Street, and the Back 40 parking lot behind the Civic Center.

Street parking is also free.

There will be a kids zone at Riverside and Main, starting at 6:00 PM.

If you can’t make it , or think it’s too hot out , you can watch on WNIN PBS Channel 9, hosted by April Nading and Ryan O’Bryan.
