You have an opportunity to bid on a piece of Evansville history. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
This particular piece of history goes round and round.
It’s the revolving door that served as the 5th Street entrance to the Old Courthouse in Downtown Evansville for more than 90 years.
Vanderburgh County Commissioners decided to remove the door due to security issues.
It was made by International Revolving Door of Evansville and installed in 1930.
The Evansville company has been providing revolving doors around the world for more than a century.
The door is up for auction by Curran Miller Auction Realty.
