Lane Restrictions Planned for I-69 at U.S. 41

INDOT

Traffic will be down to one lane each way on I-69 for lighting improvements

Lane restrictions are coming to a busy intersection in the Evansville area. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Indiana Department of Transportation says crews will restrict driving lanes of I-69 in both directions near the Highway 41 interchange, starting as soon as Monday.

INDOT says the restrictions will extend just beyond the I-69 bridge over Weinbach Avenue.

The restrictions will allow crews to make improvements to lighting near the busy interchange.

INDOT says traffic will remain open in the passing lanes of I-69 in both directions, but with a 12-foot width restriction.

The work is expected to last through mid-August, depending on the weather.
