You may have noticed some vintage aircraft flying above Evansville over the weekend. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
It was Warbird Weekend at the Evansville Wartime Museum.
The Museum says two planes that were originally scheduled to fly in cancelled their appearances, but three did visit -- in addition to the two already at the museum.
The planes included a C-47 Skytrain Paratroop Transport, also known as “That’s All Brother”; a Twin Beech “Little Raider”; a Vultee BT-13; a P-47 Thunderbolt “Hoosier Spirit II”; and a Boeing Stearman Biplane.
The museum sent out a notice on Saturday that the event was not cancelled.
