The Indiana Department of Environmental Management has issued another statewide Air Quality Action Day for Saturday.
Minimal cloud cover and hot temperatures are again expected to create ground-level ozone.
Children, the elderly, and anyone with lung or heart conditions are urged to limit or avoid outdoor exertion.
IDEM encourages everyone to drive less, carpool and use public transportation.
You’re also urged to reduce idling, avoid refueling your vehicle or using gasoline-powered lawn equipment until evening, and conserve energy in your home.
IDEM's forecast is based on data from ozone air quality monitors throughout the state.
