Rascher and Musgrave are battling for the GOP mayoral nomination in Evansville

It’s Primary Election Day across Indiana and the polls are open until 6 p.m. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

16 Vote Centers are available for registered voters in Evansville.

You can see the list at the Vanderburgh County Election Office’s website.

In Evansville, the big race is for mayor on the Republican ballot.

Vanderburgh County Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave and financial advisor Natalie Rascher are seeking the GOP nomination.

Musgrave has touted her experience and her endorsement from the Fraternal Order of Police.

In fact, Musgrave and her supporters plan to gather at the FOP after the polls close this evening.

Rascher has described herself as an outsider and enjoys the support of incumbent mayor Lloyd Winnecke.

Rascher and her supporters are expected to follow the election returns at the Foundry on N. Main St.

Vanderburgh County Council member Stephanie Terry is unopposed on the Democratic ballot.

Terry and Libertarian Michael Daugherty will face the winner of today’s Republican Primary in the November General Election.
