The invasive weed was pulled from Ferdinand State Forest

The results are in from this week’s Garlic Mustard Pull at Ferdinand State Forest. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

Organizers call the weed pull a “great success.”

They say 14 volunteers filled 20 bags -- or about 400 pounds -- of invasive garlic mustard in just two hours on Wednesday.

Friends of Ferdinand State Forest worked with the Invasive Species Awareness Coalition of Dubois County and the Ferdinand State Forest on the annual pull.
