Old National Donating $1 Million After Shooting

John Gibson

Old National Bank is donating $1 million to help people impacted by the mass shooting at a Louisville branch earlier this month. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The Evansville-based bank says more than half of the money will be distributed through the “Love for Louisville Old National Survivors Fund,” established by the Community Foundation of Louisville.

$150,000 will go to the Louisville Metro Police Foundation, another $150,000 is headed to the University of Louisville Hospital’s Trauma Center, and $100,000 will go to the American Red Cross.

Old National CEO Jim Ryan says the company is committed to providing “continued care and support” to all of its impacted team members and the families of those who lost their loved ones.

The April 10th shooting at the Downtown Louisville bank killed five people and wounded nine. Police killed the shooter.
