No Early Voting on Good Friday at Central Library

EVPL

The library is open but the balloting isn't

Early Voting will halt for Good Friday in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Vanderburgh County Clerk Carla Hayden has issued a reminder that Good Friday is an observed holiday for the city, county, and state.

Hayden says “even though Central Library will be open on Friday, no voting will be taking place” because it’s an observed holiday.

Early voting will resume Monday at Central Library.

Voting at other library locations and Washington Square Mall -- in lieu of McCollough Library -- will begin Monday, April 24th, and continue through Friday, April 29th.

Early voting is also scheduled for Saturdays, April 22nd and April 29th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Hall Community School and Northeast Park Baptist Church.

Only registered voters living within the City of Evansville are eligible to vote in the municipal election.

Voters are reminded to always bring a government issued photo ID.

Indiana’s Primary Election Day is Tuesday, May 2nd.
