A Wind Advisory has been issued for Wednesday

The Tri-State is facing the risk of more severe weather. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

Forecasters say severe thunderstorms with damaging winds -- and even tornadoes -- can’t be ruled out late Tuesday night and Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory that goes into effect at 4:00 a.m. and lasts until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday

Forecasters say non-storm wind gusts may reach 40 miles-an-hour.

Thunderstorms with stronger winds are possible as a cold front approaches.

This new round of storms follows severe weather that hit the South and Midwest last Friday.

Those storms included an EF-3 twister that claimed three lives in Sullivan County, Indiana.
