Early voting for the May 2nd Primary is underway with a couple of location changes in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Vanderburgh County Clerk Carla Hayden says early balloting for the primary begins Tuesday at Central Library in Downtown Evansville.
That’s a change from Old National Events Plaza, which Hayden says was not able to host early voting this year due to a scheduling conflict.
After Tuesday, early voting at Central will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The other location change is due to renovations at McCollough Library. The work has moved early voting there to Washington Square Mall.
Other early voting locations in Evansville include: North Park Library, Oaklyn Library, Red Bank Library, Northeast Baptist Church, and Cedar Hall School.
The biggest race in Evansville is on the Republican ballot, where County Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave and financial advisor Natalie Rascher are seeking the party’s nomination for mayor.
Democrat Stephanie Terry is unopposed on the Democratic ticket.
