The Vanderburgh Humane Society says its dog kennels are “critically full.” So, it’s offering a deal for adopters. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The society says its holding a “Name Your Price” Adoption Special this week.
Officials say the facility has 73 dogs onsite, 31 dogs waiting in foster care, 15 scheduled to be surrendered this week, and NO empty kennels.
To help make space, adopters have the opportunity to name their adoption fee with a donation amount of their choosing.
The society says the deal is only applicable to dog adoptions and all adoption requirements still apply.
