$377,000 going to schools, Albion Fellows, Easter Seals, Granted of Evansville, others

Some of the money spent at the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is on its way to 34 not-for-profits. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The club says it’s distributing more than $377,000 in festival proceeds.

The recipients receiving the largest amounts were Evansville’s two West Side high schools, Reitz and Mater Dei, at $27,000 each.

The club also allocated funding to other public and parochial schools.

The next highest recipient was Granted of Evansville, an organization that fulfills wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

Other top recipients were the Albion Fellows Bacon Center, Vanderburgh County CASA, and Easter Seals.

The complete list of recipients can be seen at the Nut Club’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
