Road crews have reopened a busy exit ramp in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the southbound ramp on Highway 41 to Diamond Avenue is now open.
The exit ramp had been shut down since September as part of a bridge replacement project.
The old Highway 41 bridge was damaged beyond repair by a tall truck.
INDOT says drivers can still expect a few lane restrictions in that area until mid-April as contractors finish up the “final touches.”
