Brandon Gaudin, 39, calls it “the realization of a childhood dream”

An Evansville native has been named the TV play-by-play announcer for the Atlanta Braves. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Bally Sports South has announced Brandon Gaudin will be the television voice of Atlanta’s major league baseball team, starting this month.

The 39-year-old Gaudin is a Harrison High School and Butler graduate who has worked for Fox Sports and the Big Ten Network.

In a release, Gaudin calls the new Atlanta job “the realization of a childhood dream.”

Gaudin has also served as the play-by-play voice of the Madden NFL video game for EA Sports.

More: The play-by-play job became available when Chip Carrey left Atlanta for the St. Louis Cardinals.
