The most expensive house in Vanderburgh County history is on the market. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
The Chancellor Mansion at 7700 Henze Road in western Vanderburgh County carries a pricetag of $8.5 million.
It’s being sold by owner Steven Chancellor, who frequently hosted fundraising events with well-known political figures and movie stars at the 45-acre estate.
Chancellor’s White Stallion Energy filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy more than two years ago, idling 260 full-time workers.
American Patriot Group LLC -- which owns the building containing White Stallion’s corporate headquarters -- is reportedly $28,000 behind on its county property taxes.
The building on Cross Point Blvd resembles the White House.
