Man Shocked in Oakland City

Victim was trimming trees in a bucket truck

A man suffered an electrical shock in Oakland City on Monday. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

It happened during the noon hour as a contract worker was trimming trees near Roosevelt and Alfrell streets.

Gibson County Dispatch indicated the man was knocked unconscious while working in a bucket truck.

A responder on the scene reported the victim was breathing.

A medical helicopter was dispatched to airlift the victim to a hospital.

There was no word his name or condition.
