Evansville firefighters rescued two teens after a tree crashed onto a house.
It happened Thursday morning at 1701 Coker Avenue, as high winds blew through the Tri-State.
EFD Division Chief Mike Larson says the first crew on the scene found a large tree had fallen into the backside of the house, with two teens upstairs.
Larson said one teen was talking to a sibling through a door, where a tree limb had crashed through the roof.
Firefighters got the sibling in the hallway out of the damaged home and then removed a door, freeing the teen trapped in the bedroom.
No one was injured.
The tree caused a partial roof collapse and ripped the electric service off the home.
CenterPoint Energy responded to disconnect the service.
