Railcrew Xpress is cutting jobs in Indiana and Kentucky

A company that helps move rail workers from train to train is pulling out of Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

22 local Railcrew Xpress drivers and one area manager are expected to lose their jobs in the action set for February 20th.

Four employees are being cut in Vincennes.

In a release, Railcrew Xpress says CSX canceled its contract with the driving company in several Indiana and Kentucky communities.

Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification – or WARN -- notices were issued in January.

Railcrew Express is based in the Kansas City area. On its website, it boasts safe, reliable, and on-time transportation for workers of various industries.
