A Vincennes couple is dead after a crash on Highway 41. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
It happened Monday evening on 41 at Industrial Park Boulevard in Knox County, just south of Vincennes.
Indiana State Police say a tractor trailer driven by 60-year-old Russell Wilson of Princeton pulled onto the highway but stopped in the crossover due to southbound traffic.
Investigators say Wilson’s trailer was blocking the northbound lanes of 41 when an SUV driven by 68-year-old Craig Wissel crashed into the trailer.
The ISP says Wissel and his wife, 68-year-old Jane Wissel, died at the scene.
Wilson was not injured.
There was no word of any charges against Wilson.
An investigation continues.
