Group meets at halfway point between previous and next Nehemiah Action

Hundreds of justice seekers will gather Tuesday to hear testimony and updates on community problems in Evansville. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

Congregations Acting for Justice and Empowerment – or CAGE – is seeking updates on what it calls urgent issues like high utility bills, housing, mental healthcare, and more.

The group is deciding what community issue to add to its Nehemiah Action in May.

Tuesday’s meeting at Holy Redeemer Church is not open to the public, but group members and local leaders including Mayor Winnecke and Assistance Police Chief Phil Smith are expected to attend.

The group’s Nehemiah Action presentation is planned for May 9th.
