The polls are open in the Tri-State. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
Voters in southwest Indiana are electing a U.S. Senator, the 8th District Representative, Indiana Secretary of State, state legislators, some town and county leaders, and school board members.
In Vanderburgh County, 22 election centers are open until 6 p.m.
Among the local contested races are sheriff, prosecutor, and control of the County Commissioners.
On the ballot In Kentucky, voters will find a constitutional amendment question to eliminate the right to abortion in the commonwealth.
Registered voters in both states must show a valid photo ID.
