A Boil Water Advisory has been issued for a portion of Posey County. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The German Township Water District has issued the advisory for customers from the intersection of Highway 66 and Mary Anderson Road, north into the town of Wadesville, west to New Harmony-Springfield Road, and north into the town of Stewartsville.
Customers in that area should boil tap water for five minutes before using it for cooking or drinking.
The precautionary measure follows repairs to a water main break.
The utility says it will notify customers when the water is confirmed safe to drink.
