Old National Bank is celebrating a merger in New York City Tuesday. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:
Old National Bancorp’s Board of Directors and the bank’s executive leaders will ring the closing bell at the Nasdaq Stock Exchange.
They will ring the bell as a capstone on a transformational year that saw the completion of a merger of equals with First Midwest Bancorp.
In a release, Old National CEO Jim Ryan says he’ll do it on behalf of the firm’s nearly 4,000 team members.
It marks the second time the Evansville-based bank has rung NASDAQ’s closing bell and comes in advance of the company’s 188th anniversary this month.
