File

The apartment complex will feature 144 units

Ground is broken for an apartment complex in Princeton. WNIN’s John Gibson has detailsd:

The 144-unit apartment complex, known as “The District,” is a $21 million project scheduled to open in Spring 2024.

The state of Indiana’s Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative, or READI, provided $2.5 million for the project.

Officials say The District will be the first multi-family housing development in Princeton in nearly ten years, filling a workforce housing need for nearby major employers like Toyota.

More: Another Gibson County project involving READI funds is a new Toyota YMCA facility.
